What is a WebQuest?

An inquiry-oriented lesson format in which most or all the information that learners work with comes from the web.

Types of WebQuests

• Short Term

  • Designed to be completed in one to three lessons
  • Aim is to introduce a significant amount of new information and have some understanding

 

• Long Term

  • Designed to be completed between one week and a month
  • Aim is to introduce new information and analyze it throughly
  • Then they extend the subject in some way and demonstrate their understanding through a response

Most of the session was used to create an actual Podcast!

The program we used was GarageBand which comes standard on all Mac computers.
