Breathing Life Into Google Earth

Presenters: Susan Anderson & Jim Holland from Arlington ISD

Rhonda Curtsinger from Hereford ISD was in this training. It's always nice when you meet someone from home!! :)

We started with learning some basics of Google Earth.

To "take a tour", put all of your placemarks in a folder

To save a single placemark or folder of placemarks, you can right click and "save as"

We also learned some basic html editing for advanced placemark editing=

= bold

=paragraph (does not require to "end")

type text (ex. click here)= Creating a hyperlink

= Embedding a posted image

= Embedding a imagine from your harddrive

= Changing the font size

Then we followed with some information on different project ideas to use with their students.
